Caroline Mylon
Caroline Mylon has researched, written and produced uplifting and humanitarian-based stories for films and documentaries, many of which have been shown on broadcast television, as well as being used as fund-raising and educational tools for schools and charities.
She now has her own digital video production and editing facility and produces quality, low-cost, not-for-profit, promotional DVD’s for all range of humanitarian organisations and individuals, from charities, schools, workshop productions, performers, artists and musicians, and those working in the field of alternative medical therapies.
Caroline is also Press and Media Officer for UK registered charity Missing Foundation, producing its webnews, writing articles, providing photographs and other related publicity material.
Her other credits include Dispatches for Channel 4 TV in Africa. An ITV documentary on the disappearance of the toddler Ben Needham in Greece, in conjunction with the UK National Missing Persons Charity. She was in Bosnia and the Former Yugoslavia, several years’ running during the war, working on behalf of a variety of NGO’s including the local Red Cross, Childline and SOS Bosnia. In November 2002 she flew to Kabul, Afghanistan and filmed the conditions of hospitals, maternity units, famine wards, children’s homes, schools, refugee sites and the work of landmine clearance, both from within and outside of the Kabul region. Her DVD footage has been multi-used and has raised a considerable amount for charitable organisations around the world.
